U of I alumnus here ('98-'02). Oddly enough I never had pizza from any of the places you mentioned except the Airliner, which was all right but nothing special. I did have Gumby's, Paul Revere, Home Team, and occasional slices from Pizza On Dubuque.

Gumby's is the only one of those that's still left and I always liked their Pokey Stix far more anyway.

Gumby's pizza is meh but their Pokey Stix are where it's really at. With ranch. I ate so many of these during my college years (University of Iowa 98-02 GO HAWKS).

The one I know is in Iowa City. We all ate Pokey Stix in college. Better than the actual pizza. With ranch of course. Wasn't Ken's back then though.

We had a place just like that in my college town. It was called Gumby's Pizza and their cheesy bread was called Pokey Stix. We usually got some deal that included pizza but the pizza was really just an afterthought.
