You can drink moderately in theory, but in practice since you're an alkie it'll be super fast to go back to drinking daily and too much. I know I can't moderate, I fuck up eventually. (Plus I think I had withdrawals the other day from using mouthwash with alcohol once a day for a week. Not drinking, just using normally.)
Also, don't drink right after the acute withdrawals are over, that's a recipe for disaster. Wait a month or two.
