what kind of question is that? do you have a few $1000+ grinders at home? of course that a twingo isnt the same as a ferrari testarossa but yet, they both get you from A to B, that's my point. Unless you have several of those thousand dollars plus grinders at home, you literally can't argue that X grinder is better than Y grinder, no empirical experience which is the standard you just applied to me with that ridiculous question. this is attitude from you and people on that forum is snobbery, just a surrogate activity to play the power process. I love coffee, I love the process of getting my cup brewed that is what brings me pleasure. of course there is a hierarchy in products and brew methods but I would almost guarantee you that the incremental advantages of any product start to be much much lower after a certain price point, and when it comes to a fucking grinder, I would just about bet you that the differences between a $400 grinder and a $1000 aren't that spectacular, but if you want to spend that kind of money you go right ahead.
