>tfw just cooked up 2 lbs of mushrooms (just mushrooms) and ate them

Tell me why this is a bad thing. Also, share your favorite mushroom dishes. I usually just saute this motherfuckers up add a splash of soy sauce at the end and squeeze lemon on them. I usually make it as a side dish but now I just want to eat mushrooms as a full meal.

>NOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST WASH YOUR MUSHROOMS
They're like 90% water already, and when you cook them, the water is going to release anyway. Unless you're eating them raw like a retard, it shouldn't matter.

Or you can just buy wood-loving mushrooms like shiitake or oyster which aren't grown in literal cow shit.

Does anyone have experience growing mushrooms at home?
I don't have any space to grow my own vegetables, but Shiitake and oysters seem reasonably easy to grow.
I don't expect to get crazy amounts of mushrooms that way, but having atleast a small part of your ingredients being homemade seems fun.

Is there any combination more based than this?
