So, at one time, in the 20th century, in Boston, and the Massachusetts area, Saturday night meant “Franks and Beans Night.” And no, for a kid, that did not mean being forced to suck your catholic priest’s frank and beans. It meant frankfurters, Boston baked beans, and brown bread. Anyone else familiar with this?
