My gf calls me a picky eater some times. I don't really avoid foods unless they're terrible unhealthy. 9/10 I'll try something new. On the subject of sending food back to the kitchen; well why the fuck not? If they got my order wrong I am going to send it back. For something small like the peas touching the potatoes, no.

Meanwhile she doesn't eat pork, most veggies, spicy food, scrambled eggs, refuses any kind of meat that isn't completely well done, and also hates beans of any sort. I recently asked her if she wanted to go to an Indian restaurant for dinner, and she refused because 'Indian food is weird.' At the end of the day it's just a slight annoyance she refuses to eat those kinds of foods.
If I want to experiment with different kinds of food, or unique stuff my brother is always willing to go with me or eat out.

I just remembered one thing she did eat that I wasn't sure of though. Red herring salad, which we bought from a small Russian store. I'd probably try it now if it was fresh made
