Yeah, i love that about hunting. I know that the meat i get came from happy animals with a free life.

The emotions i get are more from knowing that I took the life away of another creature that has its own history and goals. I took that away to feed my own existence. One of the rabbits I shot was, just a few seconds before, 'kissing' another rabbit and relaxing.

But yeah, in the end that is what life is all about. Destroying another living thing to sustain yourself.

My emotions are one of the reasons why i wouldn't hunt intelligent animals like magpies. Magpies are shown to have self awareness and i wouldn't want to make another magpie depressed because i shot its partner. Also i wouldn't eat magpie so it would be a waste of life anyway.
