I can deal with someone picking things off from food that HE PAID or small things like picking cherry off from dessert
But what I can't deal with is if I make food for someone, me personally, put effort and time to it just to see some asshole scraping things to side of his plate. This is what really grinds my gear

>Make bolognese for my girl
>She's OK with it. Doesn't say a word
>Add regular vegetables in it; carrots, celery, onions, additional tomatoes
>She scrapes them off to side of her plate with fork. Even those small bits of tomato
>Only smooth sauce and little bit of minced meat remains
>"Heh I don't like veggies so much"
>10 mins she spent picking
>She complains that food is cold and microwaves it

She's EX now and this was many years ago. Still picky like a child and now five times fatter
