>Literally no one said this, except for you just now.
Most Asian Americans are first or second generation immigrants from poor countries. Same with Indian Americans.

>That's exactly what Affirmative Action is for
No it's not, AA has nothing to do with individual merit.

>because it's been shown time and time again that without it, most institutions actually refuse to look at individual merit
Assuming that's true, then those institutions would need reforms to root out discriminatory practices, not reverse discrimination enforced by law to compensate for this perceived bias.

>you probably shouldn't be so fixated on it if you're not racist, either.
No, Affirmative Action goes against equality. There is no equal competition and no level playing field if things like this chart >>9164901 are allowed to happen.

>Pray tell, who is being discriminated against when pretty much every institution that makes use of AA is still majority white/male
Poor whites.

>applicants for AA still not to reach a level of academic excellence in order for it to apply to them
Excellence becomes irrelevant if you are Black (once again see chart), which both discriminates against Whites and Asians and devalues the efforts of those Blacks that do achieve academic excellence regardless of AA.

>and how are Jim Crowe laws, as well as rules that were put in place specifically to stop black people from having decent education or owning land only "perceived" past injustices?
Because it becomes a matter of perception on who suffered most. And it shouldn't be a victimhood competition but a forward-looking effort to erase racial boundaries.

Who the fuck are you to judge?
100 years ago Blacks were lynched. Well, 100 years ago Polish Jews were murdered in pogroms or Koreans were being oppressed by the Japanese.

Who are you to judge who suffered more disadvantages? How do you even judge such a thing? Is there a victimhood scale?

Supermarket brands are fucking comfy.
I buy almost every single non-food item from the Carrefour brand, from deodorant to desserts and cleaning supplies.

99% of the time (and you can check this on the label) it's the EXACT SAME PRODUCT than the top brand, coming from the EXACT SAME FACTORY, which Carrefour / Aldi or whatever gets for cheap as part of deals they make with these brands.

You are literally paying a 200% markup price for the brand name. You are literally a sheep.
