Worked at A&W for a summer job once.

>manager was an old guy who treated you like shit no matter how good or bad you did
>coworkers were mostly black apart from the couple of adults who never went to college
>only had one coworker my age to talk to and he was cool, would teach me how to sneak food and drinks etc
>the employee discount for food was only 15% so you can bet your ass i took him up on it
>when a coworker would fuck up my boss would just tell me to fix whatever mess they created
>one day my one friend coworker accidentally got boiling hot oil on his arm and was on the floor clenching his teeth in pain
>boss instead of helping my coworker took a long obnoxious breath of air and told him to clean up the oil that splashed onto the floor
>coworker says "are you fucking kidding me? fuck off i quit" and storms out
>boss looks at me and says "well anon, looks like im gonna need you to work two stations tonight"
>I say "for what? the same pay?" and he says "get on the station anon"
>i quit

I will NEVER work in fast food again.
