So how do I actually cook rice in my pot without it sticking to the pot, burning, and never washing off???
>cooking spray
>olive oil
>butter
I use all that. I apply it to the pot, toss my rice in and stir occasionally, but it ALWAYS leaves a nasty sticky at the bottom that burns and doesn't wash off.

Trying to eat healthier so I'm making "grilled chicken breast" by cooking marinated chicken breast in a non-stick pan (the only pans I have)

The marinade burns after a minute and gets stuck to the pan. Not as bad as pic related but I worry the rigorous cleaning afterwards may be ruining the non-stick properties

Suggestions?

If there is a little bit of burnt residue left over from a pan, only a very small amount not like what's shown in the image, but it's been through the dishwasher and completely soaped, is the pan still okay to use? I just cooked and ate something like this, am I going to get food poisoning? There was small specs of black on what I cooked.
