Malort, probably no one outside of Chicago will know this one, but maybe some Nordcucks will have had experienced something similar (bäsk liquor).
It really shouldn't even be considered a liquor, but more like an old world tonic you would give someone coming down with consumption. Still people drink it here like it's Jager.
