Asking /diy/ but maybe you can help me too.

I'm looking for a way to block the smoke and cooking hazard to spread in my room.

So far what I did is put mine in a little carboard box, with curtains made of paper towels, and I changed them when they get too soaked. The cardboard box should get the same treatment. Anyway that fix is not perfect.

Any idea how I can isolate this 2000W cooktop better? I got a standard home air aspiration on top but nothing fancy and by experience I know it will be fucked in the long term (I cook meat 2 times a day). I'm starting to think about a wood box with hood filters on top.
