Hash browns by a fucking mile. They are a must-have addition to any proper breakfast and the only thing I will put ketchup on, since ketchup was invented for the sole purpose of complimenting the perfect crispy tastiness of shredded fried perderders. Fries and mashed are close second/third.

They pretty great. Canola oil worked best for seasoning, at least for me, cause of the high smoke point. If you get a really good seasoning on them you can cook meat and eggs in there just like its teflon.

Maintenance isn't hard just make sure you reseason every time you cook something acidic like tomatoes in there. Wipe it down good if you don't have time to reseason after using and it will be fine. Wash it with warm water only, and throw in the oven to get bone dry then reseason right after. You don't have to clean them too often though.

To season take about 5 rounds of thinly coating in some kind of oil (like I said I like canola since its so neutral with a high smoke point) and bake for 30-60 minutes at 450. Some people swear by lard or olive oil, but I never liked those.

Only thing that sucks is you can't really deglaze them but just get steel for that I guess. Don't worry about using steel utensils on it either, I never had a problem with my seasoning and thats all I've been using on mine for over 5 years.

Nobody can fuck with KC bbq, texas can suck my dick and memphis dry rub is meh. Midwest gets a special mention for horseshoes/ponies, biscuits and gravy, and the best goddamn steaks in the world. Fuck your a5 kobe. Go have a porterhouse at brother sebastian's in omaha and thank me later. Not to mention chitown deep dish, portillo's and the best dives you will ever encounter. Fuck in the north sector you get poutine at the bar or fried cheese curds from wisconsin. Game over. West coast cuisine is a pretentious daisy chain hipster shit (fuck btw in-n-out we shit on that in the greasiest dive bar here) and all the east coast has up on us fresher seafood by 6-12 hours.
