The thing about tea is it's a lot like wine: there are basic styles but the meat of it is in regional differences.

I could tell you "black tea is my favorite type" but is that a tangy Ceylon? A hearty Masala Chai? Drowning myself in the oppressive smokeyness of a Lapsang Souchong?
