>Working as a cashier during crunch time, everyone is rushing home to get dinner started, around 4-5 pm on a weekday.
>Managers are helping us bag up grocery's because we only have 2 baggers working, it's a small store but we still have an ass load of customers.
>Middle aged woman with her kids comes up to me, before I can say the usual shit she cuts me off
>"Your coffee grinders are both broken, they aren't working."
>Manager bagging for me explains to the woman "are you sure you didn't just close the top lid all the way?" (it sounds stupid but so many fucking people make this mistake all the time)
>Woman begins getting more snappy and uptight with her tone, giving off the vibe that we totally fucked her day up, "No, I've been going here for three years, they are definitely broken, and because you guys can't fix them, I had to buy the Starbucks brand ground coffee."
>Like I fucking care, big deal bitch get off your high horse, still I reply with "Well I'm sorry about that ma'am, I'll run and fix that right away".
>Manager takes over cashiering/bagging so I can go and see what the problem is even though the woman doesn't want to return to the coffee grinder because the lines have gotten even longer.
>I walk over to the isle with the coffee grinders to find it completely trashed.
>Coffee grounds everywhere, on the floor, all over the fucking machine.
>I walk up to the machine, close the lid all the way to see if it works.
>It fucking works fine.
>mfw
>Clean up the bitches mess up and return to cashiering.

I just cannot believe this bitch was arrogant and stupid enough not to admit she was wrong, because obviously when my manager told her the common solution she probably was thinking (oh shit, I am wrong but I'm to full of myself to admit it, time to continue acting like a stuck up bitch)

Fuck working in grocery stores.
