Toxoplasmosis is very easily transmitted. Cats lick their asshole and themselves. Scratch a cat than you eyelid or mouth, e voila. They also walk on their cat litter and than all over your furniture and even kitchen table. It's not just a brain worm, a pregnant woman will misscarriage or bear a retarded child when she gets infected with toxoplasmosis during pregnancy.

And unlike a dog, you can't train a cat properly. If your dog shits on your carpet than that's your cat brain being unable to treat him like a dog and train this behaviour out of him while it's a pupper. A dog will hunt with and for you and actually mourn your dead, while your cat while just top to evaluate if she first eats your eyes or tongue from you bloating corpse (spite having a plate full of cat food, because fuck you).

Birds are even worse. You take away their ability to fly the skies and put them in solitary confinement torture just to make them look at you in deperation of love of their peers. An animal should be usefull, not something to get because actual people don't even look at you, let alone grace you with human interaction.
