These apps have ruined my favorite teriyaki place. People order insanely huge amounts of food that has no hope of getting to them in a fresh/warm state since it could not possibly all be made at the same time. The restaurant is not able to keep up with the orders and now it takes over 45 minutes just to get a basic order of fried rice or chicken teriyaki if you walk-in and place an order. It used to only take 10 minutes on a busy day.

This. I was happy as a clam using frozen product and a thick flat top but fuck making them yourself fresh or frozen. You need a lot of fat and a surface that retains a lot of heat brother. Use gas so you have temperature control and even heat. Fuck.

What I suck at is large potato dumplings. I can't do it. I give the fuck up. I wanted to make Cepelinai because of my friend, but fuck fuck fuck my years of international catering. Are American potatoes all different and none suitable?

Yep. Got a great job after college, but when the company got bought out and I moved I started working at near minimum wage and can't find another one. A lot of professions are a shitshow. Saying unemployment rate is low means nothing if it means you're working as a cashier at dollar tree.
