Hey guys never tried sardines before, but I just stumbled upon this can in the back of my cupboard. I want to eat them but I want to make sure they are still good. According to Google these things can remain good for 5 yrs, but I have no idea when the can got there, I think it may have been left from a previous tenant or something.
It says on the side BBE 2/10/2019 so I am assuming they are still good even though they are reaching the end of their life.
Will it stink up my entire apartment if I open them?
What are some good ways I can prepare them?
