>3. Walk around Lincoln Park Zoo
Stopped reading right there. Anon wants the full Chicago experience, not the basic one. I'll help you out (note: my list is norf heavy)
>Pork chop sandwich at Jim's Original
>From Jim's, walk a block north to Roosevelt, turn right and walk east until Jefferson, then turn left and walk north until you see a parking lot and a street sign that says De Koven. That's where the Chicago Fire started (hence the huge fire department area)
>walk back to Roosevelt and take any bus heading east to go museum campus
>Hull House museum will show you how many brothels there were in the area before a cleansing rain came and built all the expressways and UIC
>Open Books on Lake and Des Plainest for books galore
>Larp as an anarchist at the Haymarket Memorial on Des Plaines and Randolph
>nicest Jewel on Kinzie and Des Plaines. If you hang around the area, you'll be able to smell chocolate in the air from Bloomer's
>Chicago History Museum in Lincoln Park
>electronics galore at Microcenter near Elston and Logan
>computer, computer parts and laptop thrift store at an alley basement on Diversey and Kimball
>Replay for a barcade that lets you play the games for free (multiple locations)
>Take the red line to Howard and hop onto the purple line to visit the suburbs
>Hop off at Davis to explore downtown Evanston
>Take the purple line to Linden and take a short walk East to the Bahai Temple for soul searching
>Head further East for a nice view of the lake
