I live in Texas so I have both Whataburger and In-N-Out near me, here's my blogpost
In-N-Out has the best (fast food chain chain) burgers I think I've ever had and very good, consistently fast service. Their fries are pretty terrible unless you're eating them literally straight out of the fryer in which case they're acceptable at best, but tbqh I feel like a double-double is enough food for me so I just don't get them.
Whataburger's food is generally fine to very good quality with much better variety but every single location I've tried is inconsistent as fuck re: service. At best it's just slow, but I've had stuff left out of my order, gotten random shit included presumably from someone else's order, and waited in the drive through during lunch hours with 5+ cars stacked up for 15 minutes without any service. It's like ghetto McDonald's-tier even in newer restaurants in nice neighborhoods, I've got no idea what the fuck is wrong with their management.
