Phylogenesis and Taxonomy of pizza styles can be tricky, and you must have a superior knowledge to understand how some techniques migrated from a place to another.
I guess you could call picrelated a typical Detroit style pizza, but it is actually a 'pizza al taglio' from a traditional sicilian bakery.
so what is 'traditional' then? is peanutbutter/jelly on toast traditional? Is New york style pizza traditional?
