My favorite story in childhood was Streganonna. I could have gone head to head with that pasta pot.
In Saporro I went to the well regarded Ishiya Cafe that's known for coffee she fluffy pancakes, but they had pasta on the breakfast menu so I had to order it.

Completely average unremarkable spaghetti... Except that Ishiya Cafe served it for breakfast!

I'm not gonna make another thread, so the other food grandpa loved was Italian.
He liked it spicy enough to make him sweat. I like it the same way, myself.

I had spaghetti for breakfast once at Ishiya Cafe in Saporro. They are well known for their big fluffy pancakes, but when I saw spaghetti on the breakfast menu I couldn't say no.
It was just spaghetti, though. Two years later I made it back and had one of those big fluffy pancakes. It was a wonderful breakfast.

I went to breakfast in Saporro last weekend. I was so shocked to see bolognese on their breakfast menu I had to order it.
It was OK.
