After a KFC bucket of chicken I tried making some stock with the bones and scraps and it was pretty delicious. You may want to filter out the breading at the end with a coffee filter.

If you don't make stock with your leftover bones (from any meal) it's definitely worth it. Throw them in a pot of cold water with onion, celery, carrot, and a bay leaf, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 3-5 hours. Cool ASAP and I like to freeze in old 32oz yogurt containers. When it's cold out it's nice to have the added moisture in the air.

If you haven't had chicken noodle soup with real chicken stock you haven't had chicken noodle soup.
