Smashburgers are almost just crust, no interior and it will always be well done. With a thicker patty you can cook it to your likeness and of course still have a delicious seared crust.

You didn't overcook the patty, which is the most important thing of all. Bread looks grea. All in all it looks delicious, even though I'd prefer a single patty and no middle bun here. Still a solid 10/10. Vegetables isn't obligatory, for me it's more of a mood thing.
