The mcdonalds manager on the top row with $50k net worth hears the senator in the middle row with $1 million net worth saying "we should raise taxes on billionaires" and thinks "oh he means me!" and then decries the "hypocrisy" of the guy on the middle row for trying to "steal" his income. Working class people genuinely believe that doctors and lawyers are the ones trying to steal their money and that their true saviors are the elon musks and jeff bezoses of the world
