Get at least a tri-ply, and check to see if it's made in France (most are). Ignore these faggots that say you need something more. I have a Cuisinart triple-ply made in France, and it is just as good as the All-Clad D3 I have of the same pan. I found mine at HomeGoods for cheap as fuck (same as all my other pans, which are C3P or All-Clad d3/d5). Tramontina made in Brazil is good too.
