Nope. We produce our own nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers and can import potash from Canada. We were buying from Russia because it was cheap. US also produces rice and most other staple crops.

South America and Africa are the places that are fucked. No local fertilizer production in either place.

I have rarely had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be seated at ANY restaurant. food prices are not and issue for me, and the only time the food is mediocre is when I go to a mediocre restaurant which I don't do anymore. the longest I have had to wait for food in the last several years was about 20 minutes.
