Not having a good relationship with your dad means when he's gone you won't be a fucking wreck. My dad was a brilliant self-made businessman who worked from home, so he spent plenty of time with me and my sister. Just passed a few weeks ago suddenly. People keep saying "you'll get over it" but it still feels exactly the same 22 days later.
