Several years ago my parents decided to take me to some tiny Italian restraunt in the middle of nowhere that was supposed to be delicious. We got there at 6 and didn't receive our meals until after 11 (pm) and the restraunt only had 2 wait staff: a flamboyant gay guy who danced as he walked and a super old lady who couldn't walk without holding onto the chairs. The food was super salty and we ended up leaving after tasting our food. Despite how shitty it was the entire restraunt was decorated with outstanding newspaper review clippings and awards.

I noticed that the quality of these things drop each year. I had one the other day and it was flavorless.
