This is my distilling element, it's a Jackson Crossflow condenser. I stuffed it with copper netting to maximize it's "knock down" of 2600 watts of heat. I can make 4.3 liters of 60% booze in 3 hours of distillation.

You don't understand column distilling at all. It's a closed system, it gets to the top and it condenses immediately. This series of condensing tubes actually kinda looks like Bruce nuclear when they're cleaning the steam coils. That 'knocks down' the 2600watt boiler flow into a catch plate that is the condensing process.

2 Inch forces the vapour up very fast. 3 inch is the least small system I'd ever use, 4 inch is better for energy retention and just faster extraction.

There are two ways to run a a column still. In refluxing or pot still mode. Refluxing requires you to have a heat sink aggregate in the column itself. It's like distilling gasoline, you have gasoline at the top and every other distillate forms at its own temperature level.
