/ck/ - Food & Cooking

There's a really annoying, off-putting fixture of /ck/ which is a few posters - and it may actually just be just one poster - who have a neurotic fixation. I'm not a mass responding faggot, so just take my word that they're pretty prevalent ITT.
They browse the board and seem to be frequently overcome with total disgust at any post or idea that falls below their stringent, anal-retentive, dainty standards of health, order, and tidiness which cloister their dull, sanitized experience. It fills them with personal offense and prompts outbursts towards other people (their imagined superiority to which is a vital pinning of their identity) who could even conceive of sullying themselves with the ingestion of disorderly foodstuffs. To them, no pleasure or satisfaction of palate could be worth the risk to their delicate purity, and it fills them with fury to see that /ck/ anons enjoy such grossly delicious southern food, with its flavor being all messy and enjoyable. Unfortunately for normal anons, they then must announce their holy dissatisfaction so as to soothe their trauma.
Southern food is fucking delicious, it wouldn't be if it were healthy, and I love that it makes these womanly little people seethe.
