ITT talk about creative substitutes for bread in common recipes

I had a burger today without the bun and grease just went everywhere, then I discovered this so as soon as I make another burger I'll post results if it worked well or not. Anyone try rice patties instead of a bread bun? any other ways to soak up the delicious burger grease? I'm not interested in gluten free bread or things that exactly try to mimic bread without wheat, I'm more looking for the challenge of not eating bread in things that normally have bread just because interesting challenges produce good results sometimes
