Why aren't you vegan?

I rather doubt that. If you consider walmart an acceptable source of meat you probably think your artificially subsidized "meat"* prices are normal whereas meat in reality has a high cost and you are simply shifting the production costs onto innocent people (and your future self).

>* not really "meat" in the original sense of the word, more like pinkish red meat-themed antibiotic hormone slimed biomass

I wonder what you think the price of meat ought to be. If I wanted a less desirable cut of actual, good meat it might be $15/lb. I imagine that's more than you consider acceptable for even the highest demand cuts because you are accustomed to destroying river systems and making hospitals more dangerous instead. Of course, it's fine with me to pay $20/lb for what you might call an "everyday" cut like skirt, because (well first because I earn more than you but aside from that) I only eat meat a few times a week, as would be the case if people didn't have unrealistic and irresponsible expectations.

This is your reminder that if you're buying "meat" at the grocery store and it cost less than $9/lb it can hardly be considered meat. More like reddish meat-themed antibiotic slimed biomass. Disgusting. I wouldn't even allow it in my kitchen, let alone in my mouth.

Why don't you eat more legumes, /ck/? Legumes are tasty not to mention very nutritious and, of special interest to /ck/, they are extremely cheap, without threatening your health or the health of your fellow humans.

tl;dr if you are poor you don't need meat. Study hard, get a good job, and then you can have luxuries, such as meat. Because that is what it is. A luxury, not an entitlement.

What makes you think this is limited to chocolate?

Americans feel very strongly that quality is for liberals and liberals are a form of socialist and socialism made the USSR collapse.

Good quality chocolate is for Europeans and the last time we tasted chocolate like that it was brought back from Europe by a libtard with a passport trying to shove his cultural marxism down our throats.

See also, the overconsumption of pink slime made from animals that had to be stunned with cattle prods a few moments before death in order for them to be technically "still moving" and therefore, legally, not too diseased for humans to eat.

Muh munny's worth!

Hey, all you poorfags who think it's ok to eat antibiotic hormone meat.

Just remember, your shitty entry-level health insurance probably won't cover whatever super expensive drugs that will have to be developed to work around a problem you crated. All this time you were laughing at decent people who paid extra for the good meat? You were busy digging your own grave.
