>about to make ramen because I have no cooking skills
>usually use a measuring cup to hold water in so I can microwave it
>the one measuring cup I have is in the dishwasher and i'm a lazy fuck, so I use a gravy tub cup thing because it has a lip on the end and seems like it holds more liquid than any other cup I can find, so I assume the transfer to the ramen cup from the gravy tub will be as smooth as the measuring cup
>water is done
>hold cup of ramen in left hand over my stove, slowly pour boiling water from right hand to cup
>boiling water drips down from the lip as if it didn't even have a fucking lip and splashes all over my left hand and the ramen cup, instantaneously making me go to the sink and turn the cold water on to remedy the burn
>feel like a fucking idiot
