gonna make bacon in it for thr first time ever soon
any tips for soft bacon and seasoning a cast iron with bacon fat?

r8 my seasoning routine
I was it almost every time i use it with a plastic scrub brush and cold water, and dry with a dish towel
then I turn the burner on medium high and add extra light olive oil and some celtic sea salt and stir that around with a silicone spatula until all the salt dissolves and i start to see smoke
turn off the heat once it smokes and let it rest overnight, or on a low burner for a few hours to really soak in the oils
then in the morning I come and buff the excess oil out with a paper towel
I dont like heating up the oven just for seasoning
