Shot and roasted a gull on a hiking/hunting trip once.
By far the nastiest thing I have ever eaten and we threw it away after trying it.
Thankfully also bagged a couple of hares, which were a lot more palatable.

They say white bread is bad for the ducks but I've never heard that oats saturated with cooking fat was an issue. Seems pretty close to those balls of birdfeed they sell premade if you ask me.

I've been breaking down the fatty oats to almost individual flakes instead of clumps because the gulls were taking an interest. It's easy enough once they've cooled. I just poke a bit at the pile with a soupspoon. Break it up and spread it out.
