What recipe are you using? Don't expect good pancakes if you're just using bisquick + water.

I recently made some pancakes and used a modified recipe based on the Ihop one. I subbed buttermilk for whole milk + extra butter, added some vanilla extract, used less sugar, and added more flour because the batter was too wet.

Came out tasting pretty good, but the best part is that it browns evenly. I hate pancakes that look splotchy like pic related
