can't wait for my fig tree to produce again - ate so many pretty much daily this past season. though I prefer them on their own, I did play around with some applications for them. one that was cool was slicing them up and putting them on toasted sourdough with peanut butter. it mimics the jelly flavor but without all the added sugar - really nice. other than that, just eating with goat cheese and some pistachios was pretty tasty, too.

Tastes like a pb&j but without all the added sugar and other crap you get in jelly. Had one earlier with toasted bread, added bacon to it. Excellent with a glass of cold milk. Any anons try this?
