I take notice of a particular habit of young shoppers, especially if they're in pairs. They'll park their grocery cart on an aisle and walk somewhere else, sometimes across the store completely, because it's easier than navigating their cart through other carts for the entire go.

Well, every time I see someone leave their cart I move the cart to a discrete place. There's nothing like the sensation I get when I see two people leave a brimming cart, then move it where they'll never find it.

One time I even wandered around the store, putting each item back in its place. For items I couldn't locate, I just left them on the floor or put them in other people's carts when their back is turned.
