I used to drink a bottle a day for about 7 years, I would take a day or 2 off every couple weeks when I got too sick. I got a job working in the oil field at dry camps for 3 weeks on 1 week off. Now I buy a bottle of cheap vodka and a bottle of nice scotch when I get home. I sometimes don't even finish both by the time it's time to go back to work. If I ever work a normal job again I could possibly relapse but I just don't feel the need to drink the way I used to. I think the ride is pretty slow now.
