Pic is failed attempted of a café au lat, cause there isn't supposed to be foam. The next day I made a more ""authentic"" version. French press coffee with french market meduim dark roast with chicory, 3 grams of sugar, and brewed with ceylon cinnamon. The foamed one had a stronger cocoa powder taste and maybe a smidge sweeter and silky. The true version had less pronounced cocoa powder notes, and was more bold, but rich and smooth. Can frothing heated milk with an electric wisk really change up the coffees flavor?
