In the UK we have Christmas Puddings. A suet and fruit pudding with brandy and spices. The alcohol content is high enough that you can light it on fire before eating it.

Traditionally you also mixed coins into the pudding and anyone who got one of them would receive good look. But that only worked with the older imperial coins, you can't use the new metric ones.
