Calfornia has the best Mexican since it's closer to one of the best food regions in Mexico and it has a bit of everything when it comes to Mexican food. Chicago is second best and they might have the least amount of Mexican-American restaurants but they lack the seafood and tacos Los Angeles has. They do have the best upscale Mexican. Texas would be third I guess. They have good authentic Mexican places but the majority is Mexican-American(which is good but lacks variety). The rest are irrelevant. New york is pretty underrated.
