>I was never forced to eat it. My family made it all the time though. Particularly "Mexican cornbread" where you line the skillet with the cornbread mix, add tomatoes, ground beef, onions, etc, then pour the rest of the mix on thee so it is like a pie. I actually only started eating cornbread a few years ago because it goes grat with a tomato base soup I make that is thin and absorbable.
Are you actually some mid- to southern-american guy?
I mean it all sounds quite nice, but we have to hold up stereotypes around here.
