OP I've one of those for camping. I run it on little butane cans. It fucking sucks and takes 15 minutes to boil a couple of pints of water, but is sufficient for a few basic meals. They are extremely lightweight and flimsy which again helps for camping. I've also a thing like pic related which I use for outdoor wok cooking and large catering, like 20 gallons of sauce. I use large propane cylinders. I've ran it in the house too on blocks and a cement slab with the backdoor open. Kicks ass but propane is a lot more expensive than mains gas so it is only when I need it.
