why does everything have to be fucking RANCH?

What is up with America's obsession with ranch?
I live in the south and people fucking use it to rub themselves off with and put it on everything else to eat.

Like what the fuck? I can't go to single god damn fast food joint or restaurant without having to ask them to remove the ranch.

So, I've been wondering...is it okay to leave ranch out? In a closed container, of course. I've heard people say "OH IT'LL GO BAD AFTER EVEN A DAY", but the expiration date on it isn't until november, and the ranch here has been out for about a month does not smell nor taste spoiled. I've also seen people who store unopened ranch in their pantry and they've never had an issue. So what's the deal?
