The problem is that if you want to talk seriously about alcohol and there's no al/ck/ thread these whiny drain-circling self-pitying-and-loving-it human embarrassments will always shit it up with their campfire stories about how hard life is and how they have to drown their sorrows 100% of the time. Best to give them a containment thread so you can tell them to fuck off to it when we want to talk about the finer side of drinking.

I've drunk pickle juice as a pick me up before breakfast, but can't imagine that it would be a good pairing for coffee.
