gonna make pinto hummus.

it's hummus, but with pinto beans instead of chickpeas.

'cause when you really think about it, it's not the chickpeas that makes hummus good: it's the other ingredients: garlic, tahini, lemon juice, etc.

chickpeas is just the starchy vehicle to carry those flavors. pinto beans should do the same exact thing.

and pinto beans are insanely cheap. i can make mountains and mountains of hummus.

what do you do you guys think?
