Alcohol is not forbidden by Christianity but if you drink to excess you are in error and sin.

Ephesians 5:18 - And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Because you are abusing yourself:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

And your body is a temple of the holy spirit that has been BOUGHT with a PRICE by Jesus Christ who died for you:

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20, KJV

God loves you and can help you overcome whatever sin is in your life if you will pray and repent.
